making tetrarc no3, GBP

Previous pieces were bisque fired.
First one was fired on the wooden mould. It was quite a mass of wood for burning away without effecting the piece. With the difference in temperature while bisque firing, the piece cracked through the centre.
Second piece was bisque fired, then glazed. This piece was placed on bricks in the glaze firing. This one came out of the glaze firing with quite a crack, damaging the piece.

This time I made a clay firing support for the piece, such that the base shrinks along with the piece, in the firing.
And also planned to once fire the piece.

Hence, glazed the top surface, and built the clay firing support on it.

This was a hell of a lot of fun!!!!
