Chinnagama preparation, GBP, Pondicherry

This time I landed in Pondicherry on 1st of August. The Hyatt Regency Chennai organised a BEE FESTIVAL to open the art work on display in the hotel. It was an enriching three days with dance and theatre performances, talks and films on Bees! After the event I was bu`zzing  for a while!!!!! : P

Then I started making work for the new, small anagama kiln at GBP. The anagama gang in their studios made work for the same. On 18 sept, everyone got their works to the pottery and we loaded the kiln in three days that followed.

This is a new kiln. We call it Chinnagama. Chinna - in Tamil language means small. So, small - anagama,(another anagama here is 200cft firing space) this one is 100cft.
There is a picture of chimney being built a few days before we started loading.
